ABOUT THE TRAINING PLAN:

To make sure all our participants are fully prepared for this rigorous and rewarding cycling tour, we’ve put together a comprehensive 21-week training program.

This customized program includes a week by week schedule of mileage and activities, as well as group road rides through San Diego County and a series of cycling clinics. This plan provides an outline of recommended time and distance but can be adjusted to fit your own schedule. The goal of our plan is to prepare you to meet the challenge of cycling 60-119 miles for seven consecutive days.

Each registered rider will also receive a complimentary electronic training manual which includes a calendar of rides, cycling tips and information about the MDC route and profiles.
