TOUR DE COVE - Blazin' Saddles
The Tour de Cove returns to beautiful La Jolla Cove on Sunday, October 25, 2009. Join the Challenged Athletes Foundation for the Tour de ‘Blazin’ Saddles’ Cove, a four and a half hour Wild West Spinning® adventure! There will be over 100 Spinner® bikes and Krankcycles® on the lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the center of the Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge.
THE CHALLENGES
Participate in the four and a half hour ride as an individual.
CHAMPION JERSEY:
Raise a minimum of $2,000 and ride for four and a half hours. Receive a coveted seat in the front row along with priority access to a Krankcycle® and be treated to a massage, cooling mistings and cowboy comforts. The perks continue with event-day valet parking, VIP check-in and two tickets to CAF’s inspirational showcase – the Celebration of Abilities held on Friday evening, October 23rd. Receive a gym bag filled with goodies including running shoes, a custom Tour de Cove bike jersey, event sweatshirt, event t-shirt, Headsweats® visor, water bottle and more!
YELLOW JERSEY:
Raise a minimum of $500 and ride for four and a half hours. Receive a premium reserved spot, personal instruction on a Krankcycle® and one ticket to CAF’s inspirational showcase – the Celebration of Abilities held on Friday evening, October 23rd. Receive a bag filled with goodies including a custom Tour de Cove bike jersey, event sweatshirt, event t-shirt, Headsweats® visor, water bottle and more!
NEW THIS YEAR – RIDE WITH YOUR POSSE
GREEN JERSEY TEAMS:
Three member teams can spin® together for one and a half hours. Raise a minimum of $300 per person ($900 per team) and each person gets a reserved spot beside their teammates and a bag full of goodies including event sweatshirt, event t-shirt, Headsweats® visor, water bottle and more!

A non-refundable $100 deposit is due at the time of registration for all participants. The balance must be donated or fundraised by October 1, 2009. CAF makes fundraising easy by providing you an online fundraising webpage, fundraising kit, motivational emails and support from CAF staff.
