About CAF Idaho FLY FISHING PROGRAM
Led by experienced fly fishing instructors passionate about adaptive sports, the CAF-Idaho Fly Fishing Program combines education, adventure, and camaraderie. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to fly fishing, all are welcome.
Limited Spots: To ensure personalized attention, the program is limited to 8 participants
The Grand Finale: Destination Immersion: From 8/11-8/14, culminate your experience with a memorable fishing adventure in a breathtaking location.

8/8: All Day Rowing Experience

- The immersion includes facilitated travel and 3 overnight periods for all participants
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can participate in the CAF-Idaho Fly Fishing Program?
- Athletes with a permanent physical disability who are 16 years old and older.
Do participants need prior experience?
- No prior experience is required.
How can I apply for the program?
- Application details can be found on our apply tab which is available at the top of this page. Follow the application instructions to secure your spot for the CAF-Idaho Fly Fishing Program.
What equipment will be provided, and what should participants bring?
- Fly fishing equipment and fly-tying necessities will be provided. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and any cooling items needed for warm evenings.
Is there a cost to participate?
- Participation in the CAF Idaho Basecamp Programs is free for registered athletes. This includes coaching, fishing licenses, lunch, and lodging for the immersion (for Idaho residents coming from outside of the Treasure Valley).
Can family and friends attend the program?
- As always, friends and family are welcome to spectate, but this program is for athletes.
