Join THE CAF-Idaho Nordic Skiing Basecamp PROGRAM

On Fridays and Saturdays beginning December 13th CAF Idaho athletes 16 years old and older have the opportunity to participate in CAF Idaho’s Nordic Skiing Basecamp Program. 

The program is intended for new and returning athletes who want to build a community through athletics with a maximum capacity of 10 athletes.

 

About CAF-Idaho Nordic Skiing PROGRAM

Inclusive Nordic Skiing

Led by knowledgeable coaches, each week helps empower athletes to learn new sports while creating connections with other kids. Athletes will continue through a 4-week journey with their peers learning a new sport.

Community, Mentorship, and Beyond

Extend your connections beyond the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse doors. Our programs foster a supportive atmosphere where experts serve as mentors, guiding beginners through the excitement of trying something new. Explore a sport and make a group of friends at the same time!

Safe and Enjoyable Exploration

Prioritizing safety and fun, we ensure that every participant can explore all sports in a secure and enjoyable setting.

CAF-Idaho Nordic Skiing Program invites you to join us in redefining the possibilities of sports.

Nordic Skiing Dates

·      Boulder Mountain Tour Training Camp and Race
·      Participants will partake in a training camp before the Boulder Mountain Tour Race on Saturday, February 1st. All meals and lodging are provided. Ski sessions will be in the morning and afternoon each day.

·      Participants will engage in an immersive experience featuring two overnight stays. All meals are provided. The schedule includes skiing sessions both in the morning and afternoon, allowing ample time to apply and refine the skills acquired during the program. This immersive experience is designed to reinforce learning and foster confidence on the trails.

Who can participate in the CAF-Idaho Nordic Skiing Program?

  • No prior experience is required. Whether you’re an athlete looking to refine skills, or a new athlete trying sports for the first time, our camp caters to all levels. Expert instructors will be on hand to guide and support participants.

How can I apply for the event?

What equipment will be provided, and what should participants bring?

  • Equipment for Nordic Skiing will be provided.

Are there accommodations for participants of all physical disabilities?

  • Yes, we strive to make the event accessible to all. Please indicate any specific accessibility needs during the registration process.

Do I need to attend all of the sessions? 

  • Participants need to attend all sessions at the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse. On snow sessions are not required but highly recommended.
