Creighton Wong

Creighton was born with a congenital defect that caused missing fingers on both hands and required his right leg to be amputated above the knee. It wasn’t until his thirties, after being inspired by other CAF athletes, that Creighton decided to train for a triathlon himself—which meant to learn how to ride a bike and run long distances. With assistance from CAF, Creighton completed the San Francisco Triathlon in 2008, and has gone on to compete in numerous triathlons and athletic events including the ITU World Championships in Beijing.

In 2012, Creighton was one of the 12 challenged athletes to complete the Dodge Million Dollar Challenge – a 620-mile bike ride down the California coast to raise money for CAF. An avid CAF supporter, Creighton has been involved through fundraising, mentoring, racing, and helping coordinate CAF events in the Nor Cal area.

He is also the Founder of software start-ups Bomnipotent and Chefmetrics.
