EMPOWERING LIVES THROUGH SPORT
CAF logo

CAF-Northeast offers clinics, programs, grants, and community events to individuals with physical disabilities, while also supporting families, encouraging volunteers, and appreciating our supporters. These opportunities not only provide access to sports but also foster a sense of community, allowing individuals to meet others. A variety of sports clinic opportunities are hosted throughout the year in the Northeast region to give individuals with a permanent physical disability the opportunity to learn a new sport or improve their skills.

EMPIRE STATE BUILDING RUN-UP

October 8, 2025
New York City, NY

Join #TeamCAF this year for the 47th Annual Empire State Building Run-Up on October 8, 2025! Once a year, the 94-year-old Empire State Building shuts down its elevators and opens its stairwell for the iconic Empire State Building Run-Up. The Run-Up — the world’s first and most famous tower race – challenges runners from near and far to race up its famed 86 flights – 1,576 stairs.

CAF serves as the official charity sponsor for the Run-Up with a designated division for athletes with permanent physical disabilities and CAF supporters who raise funds to empower lives through sports, aiming to move beyond awareness and into acceptance. By registering here, you can bypass the lottery and run with #TeamCAF with a guaranteed charity fundraising entry.

CAF NorCal Cycling Club

2025 MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE – BEST OF CALIFORNIA
October 17-24, 2025
Santa Rosa to San Diego

The reimagined 2025 MDC offers a fresh take on a classic ride. Different from years past, we’ll start in the heart of California Wine Country in Santa Rosa, even offering an opportunity to add on an extra day of riding in this NorCal cycling mecca. After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, the ride heads south hugging the breathtaking California coastline. As the journey nears the end you’ll enjoy a special half day ride out of Santa Barbara with a transfer to our final night’s celebration in Dana Point. The final miles include an emotional ride into La Jolla Shores greeted by families, friends and the CAF community.
