Equipment costs can prevent individuals with physical challenges from being active and participating in sports. For example, a running prosthetic can cost $15,000! Your support helps break down this financial barrier. Over the last 30 years, we’ve given out 44,000 grants totaling $159 million for adaptive sports equipment, training, and competition expenses. Meet some of the athletes you help.
“Meeting others who have also faced the same struggles, and seeing how they overcame them is helping me find peace with my own life.”

“Now I am part of the CAF family, where I know I am not alone, but part of a very special community where I feel empowered and inspired to be the best I can be. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if not for CAF.”
Grant: Competition/Travel grants for two national wheelchair basketball tournaments
