About CAF-idaho mountain biking PROGRAM
Join CAF-Idaho for an exhilarating journey into the world of adaptive mountain biking! Our program, tailored for adaptive riders, offers a unique blend of learning, adventure, and community.
Inclusive Mountain Biking Basecamp Program
Led by experienced coaches, each session provides opportunities to be immersed in the mountain biking community. Break down barriers with us and create an inclusive environment for athletes with physical disabilities of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned expert or a first-time participant, the CAF-Idaho Mountain Biking Basecamp Program will create unforgettable moments on and off the trails.

Trailside Maintenance: Learn essential skills for on-the-go repairs.
Accessible Trails Exploration: Discover existing accessible trails in the beautiful Boise foothills.
Adaptive Bike Upkeep: Master the art of maintaining your adaptive bike for optimal performance.
Group Rides: Enjoy thrilling rides with a supportive community of fellow riders.

Who can apply for the CAF-Idaho Mountain Biking Program?
- Adaptive athletes 16+ of all abilities.
Do participants need prior experience in the specific sports offered?
- No prior experience is required.
How can I apply for the program?
- Application details can be found on our Apply tab at the top of this page. Follow the application instructions to secure your spot for the CAF-Idaho Mountain Biking Program.
What equipment will be provided, and what should participants bring?
- CAF will provide bikes, helmets, and any additional adaptations needed. Please bring any personal equipment that you already own.
Is there a cost to participate?
- There is no cost to participate.
Is travel assistance available?
- Travel assistance is not available, but we can accommodate Idaho residents outside of the Treasure Valley if interested.
Can family and friends attend the program?
- As always, friends and family are welcome to spectate, but this program is for athletes.
Can I volunteer for the CAF-Idaho Mountain Biking Program?
- People are invited to volunteer as support riders for our group rides on 6/6 & 6/13.
Are there accommodations for participants of all physical disabilities?
- Yes. Anyone concerned there will not be an option for them should please reach out to Bailee at bailee@challengedathletes.org
