Support Provided to Individuals with Physical Challenges as Official Bike Sponsor of the Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge, Official Bike Shop of the CAF Cycling Club and Access For Athletes Grant Program

San Diego, CA – June 22, 2016 – Challenged Athletes Foundation® (CAF) is proud to announce that it has entered a new multi-year partnership with Nytro Multisport as a Global Sponsor. Nytro Multisport is a worldwide leader in providing products and services to the cycling and triathlon markets.

Through the partnership, Nytro Multisport will provide support for individuals with physical challenges and the CAF community as the Official Bike Sponsor of the Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge and Official Bike Shop of the CAF Cycling Club. Additionally, they will support CAF’s Access For Athletes grant program with equipment and bike adjustments.

Nytro will provide equipment, on-site mechanical support at the Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge. CAF Cycling Club Members will receive exclusive discounts and hosted rides.

Nytro has also secured a relationship with SCOTT Sports as CAF’s Bike Partner, which will provide access to top of the line cycling products to challenged athletes and the CAF community. Most notably, this partnership will allow for CAF to effectively distribute more bicycle grants to challenged athletes seeking to ride.

Nytro Multisport and SCOTT Sports will contribute to CAF’s mission by helping individuals with physical challenges pursue an active lifestyle through physical fitness and athletics. CAF believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life. This year, CAF awarded 2,098 grants worth over $3.7 million to people with physical challenges.
